These Terms of Service govern the use of this website and the drinking water services provided by Aquavitalis LLC of 1220 E 400 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84102-3219, United States. By booking a water test, subscribing to a filter plan, requesting an installation or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before you proceed.
1. Acceptance Of These Terms
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Aquavitalis LLC. You accept them when you use this website, when you call or email us to arrange service, when you sign an estimate, or when you allow a technician to begin work at your property. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site and do not request service.
If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, a landlord or another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind that party to these terms. If you do not have that authority, the individual who owns or controls the property remains responsible for the obligations described here.
2. Our Services
Aquavitalis LLC designs, installs and services reverse osmosis drinking water systems. Our work includes free water testing, under-sink reverse osmosis systems, whole-house filtration, filter subscription changes, annual system sanitization and leak protection with monitoring. A description of each service is available on our services page, and the description there forms part of these terms.
We perform our work in the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding communities. Service outside that area is offered only by prior arrangement, and travel time may be reflected in a quote. We may decline a job that we cannot complete safely, that involves equipment we do not support, or that would require a permit we cannot obtain in a reasonable time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter a contract to request our services. If a property is rented, the person who requests the work must be authorized to approve it, whether that is the owner, the tenant under a valid lease, or a property manager acting with written authority.
Some installations require a shutoff of the water supply, a modification to a drain line, or an electrical connection for a pump. Where a building rule or a local code imposes a condition, you are responsible for obtaining any required approval, and we will tell you before work begins if we believe approval is needed.
4. Quotes And Water Tests
The free water test is provided at no charge and creates no obligation on either side. The readings we take are accurate to the instruments we use and the conditions at the time of sampling. Water quality changes with the season, the source and the plumbing, so a reading describes a moment rather than a permanent guarantee.
A quote is based on the information available at the time it is written, including the water test, the visible condition of the plumbing and the access to the installation point. If we discover a hidden condition, such as corroded pipe, an undersized line, an unpermitted prior modification or a lack of clearance, we will explain the finding and provide a revised quote before continuing. You are free to decline the revision, in which case we will stop work and charge only for work already completed.
5. Scheduling And Access
We schedule visits in good faith and provide an arrival window rather than a precise minute, because traffic and the complexity of earlier jobs affect timing. If we are delayed we will call the contact number you provided. If you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible, and at least twenty four hours where you can, so the slot can be offered to another customer.
You agree to provide safe access to the equipment, the water shutoff, the electrical outlet and the area where work will occur. Please clear the cabinet under the sink, secure pets, and make sure an adult is present or that a key or entry code has been arranged. If a technician arrives and cannot gain access, a trip charge may apply to cover the visit.
6. Pricing And Payment
Prices for installations and service visits are stated in the accepted quote. Filter subscriptions are billed on the schedule described at signup. All amounts are stated in United States dollars unless the quote says otherwise, and applicable taxes are added where the law requires them.
Payment is due on completion of an installation or a service visit unless the quote states other terms. Subscription charges are due on the billing date of each cycle. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. If a payment fails, we may pause non urgent service until the balance is resolved, and we will contact you before taking that step.
A returned payment or a declined card may incur a fee from the payment processor, and we pass that fee through only where it is permitted by law. If you believe an invoice is incorrect, contact us within thirty days and we will review it before any collection action.
7. Filter Subscriptions
A filter subscription delivers the correct cartridges for your system on a schedule based on your water readings and your usage, together with a technician visit to install and test them. The interval is set at signup and may be adjusted if your readings or your household change.
The subscription continues until you cancel it. You may pause it, change the interval, or cancel it at any time by contacting us. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and any cartridges already delivered or visit already performed remain payable. Subscription holders receive priority placement in our quarterly scheduling window, which is a service benefit rather than a guaranteed appointment time.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your property, your water and your plumbing. You agree to keep the equipment area accessible and to report any leak, unusual noise, drop in water quality or change in pressure as soon as you notice it. Early reporting is the single most effective way to prevent a small problem from becoming a costly one.
You agree not to attempt repairs or modifications to the system yourself, and not to allow an unauthorized party to service it, unless you have discussed the work with us first. Damage caused by an unauthorized modification is not covered by our workmanship warranty, although we will always help you return the system to a safe condition.
You are responsible for maintaining power to the outlet that feeds a pump or a monitoring hub, and for replacing a leak sensor battery if a service visit is not due. If a system is shut down for an extended period, contact us for guidance before restarting it.
9. Workmanship And Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of installation. If a fitting we installed leaks, a connection we made fails, or the system we assembled does not perform as quoted because of our work, we will correct it at no charge. This warranty covers our labor and the parts we supplied.
Manufacturer warranties on membranes, tanks, pumps and housings are provided by the equipment maker and are passed through to you. We will help you submit a claim and will perform the replacement labor under the terms of the applicable warranty. Consumable cartridges are warranted against defect at delivery, not against normal exhaustion, and are replaced according to the subscription schedule.
The warranty does not cover damage from freezing, from a water supply that exceeds the limits we tested, from an unauthorized modification, from neglect of the maintenance schedule, or from a force beyond our control such as a flood, a fire or a utility failure.
10. Leak Protection Limits
Leak protection reduces the risk of water damage but does not eliminate it. A sensor detects water at the point where it is placed, and it cannot detect a leak that begins elsewhere or that occurs while the sensor is disabled, unpowered or removed. A shutoff valve closes the supply it controls and cannot stop a leak upstream of the valve.
You agree to keep the sensor in its installed position, to keep the valve powered, and to test the assembly when we ask you to. Leak protection is a risk reduction measure, not an insurance policy, and it does not replace your own property insurance. We are not responsible for water damage that a correctly installed protection system does not prevent.
11. Property And Risk
Equipment we supply becomes your property once it is paid for and installed. Until then it remains the property of Aquavitalis LLC. Risk of loss or damage passes to you at installation, except where the loss is caused by our negligence, in which case we will repair or replace the affected equipment.
You are responsible for maintaining insurance on your property that covers water damage and the fixtures we install. If you rent the property, confirm with your landlord that the installation is permitted and that insurance covers it. We are happy to provide documentation for a landlord or an insurer on request.
12. Cancellation And Refunds
You may cancel a scheduled installation or service visit at any time before the technician begins work. If we have already ordered a special order part, a restocking cost may apply, and we will tell you the amount before the order is placed. If work has begun, you are responsible for the value of the work completed up to the point of cancellation.
If you are unhappy with a completed job, contact us within the workmanship warranty period and we will inspect the work. Where the problem is ours, we will correct it. Where a refund is appropriate we will issue one to the original payment method within a reasonable time. Refunds for a subscription follow the same principle: you pay for cartridges delivered and visits performed, and unused prepaid cycles are refunded on a pro rata basis.
13. Website Use
This website is provided for information and for contacting us. You agree to use it lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access to it, or scrape it at a volume that affects other visitors. You agree not to submit false information through the contact form or to use it to send unsolicited advertising.
The contact form opens your own mail client and prepares a message to our front desk. Delivery depends on your mail provider, so if a message is urgent, call +15856300439 as well. We are not responsible for a message that never arrives because of a mail filter or an address typed incorrectly.
14. Intellectual Property
The text, layout, graphics and code of this website belong to Aquavitalis LLC and to the developer Aqua Vitalis who prepared it. You may read the site, print a page for your own use and share a link. You may not copy our content into another website, resell it, or present it as your own without written permission.
Product names and manufacturer marks that appear on the site belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this site grants you a license to use a third party mark. If you believe that content on this site infringes a right you hold, contact us with the details and we will investigate promptly.
15. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aquavitalis LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from our services, including lost profits, lost data or damage to property that is not caused by our negligence. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so part of this section may not apply to you, and the remainder will continue in effect.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aquavitalis LLC, its employees and its agents from claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these terms, from inaccurate information you supplied, from an unauthorized modification you made, or from your failure to maintain the equipment as described.
This obligation does not apply to the extent that a claim results from our own negligence or from a failure on our part to perform the work as described. Where both parties contribute to a loss, responsibility is shared in proportion to each party contribution.
17. Disputes And Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the applicable laws of the United States. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and to allow a reasonable period for informal resolution. Most concerns are settled by a phone call and a service visit.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and both parties consent to that venue. Each party waives any objection to that venue. Any provision of these terms that a court finds unenforceable will be limited or removed, and the remaining provisions will stay in force.
18. Changes To These Terms
We may revise these terms to reflect a change in our services, our pricing structure or the law. When we make a material change we will update the effective date at the top of the page. A change applies to work performed after the revision, and it does not retroactively change the terms of a job already completed.
If you do not agree with a revision, please contact us before requesting further service. Continuing to use our services after a revision means that you accept the revised terms.
19. How To Contact Us

These terms, together with the quote you accept and the Privacy Policy published on this site, form the complete agreement between you and Aquavitalis LLC for the services described. Thank you for choosing us to look after the water in your home or office.
A quick note on what happens after installation. We register your system in our service records so that a future visit begins with knowledge rather than guesswork. The record notes the stages fitted, the membrane selected, the storage tank volume, the pressure reading at commissioning and the cartridges installed. When you call about a change in taste or pressure, that record tells the technician what the system looked like on the day it was built, which shortens the diagnosis and reduces the chance that a part is replaced unnecessarily. You may ask for a copy of the record at any time, and you may ask us to correct an entry that is wrong.
If you sell the property, the new owner inherits the equipment but not the agreement. Please tell us about the sale so that we can close the file for your address and, if the new owner wishes, open a fresh record in their name. A filter subscription does not transfer automatically, because the new owner may have different water, a different household size and a different appetite for maintenance. We are glad to explain the options to both parties.
